resilient embodied transformation
In the process of creating a new logo--and trying to embody the soul of this
business in a few brief words and an image -- the phrase "resilient embodied transformation" emerged. It's
now the phrase that follows my name in my logo, a synergy that I find especially beautiful since I do this work because I
seek, and have experienced, "resilient embodied transformation" at various times throughout my life. I now
seek to create an environment where clients who are drawn to working with me can discover resilient embodied transformation
for themselves. What is it? Transformation is a uniquely
individual process with the end result being a profound shift. What shifts? It can be many things, among them
how you perceive yourself, your world, your work, your place in your life or family, your community, the possibilities and
potentials you encounter...and much more. When transformation is embodied, it resonates throughout the whole person,
and becomes a catalyst for you to truly live your life as an expression of that transformation. When that embodied transformation
is resilient, it withstands the curves and challenges that you encounter, always there supporting and nourishing you. How does massage therapy, bodywork, aromatherapy or energy therapy create an opening for
resilient embodied transformation? By offering you the experience of being safely, even joyfully, in your body and alive
to your exquisite physical presence in this world. Of experiencing your physical self as a place of creativity, balance
and nurturing wholeness. Resilient embodied transformation
is a good place to be....

busy
I've been a bit busy this week - mostly hanging out with my family. Time spent with them reminds me how much I need
time spent with them. I'm working to balance my practice with my family life so both thrive - and I thrive.
If you have any great tips on how to do this - email me and I'll post them here!

clearing out
Doing some cleaning today here in the office - the pragmatic vacuuming and dusting kind -
before a friend comes to help with a less tangible, but just as necessary cleaning of the energy of this space. Her
name is Chari, and she does something called "Soul Walking" where she helps lost souls move into the light of what
many call Heaven. Over the years I've learned that this kind of cleaning supports keeping a healing space safe and
nourishing for everyone who is in that space. It's not tangible in the physical sense...and yet it's so tangible
in how the space feels when we're done. Well worth trying if your space, work or home, feels a bit off....
Used a great blend of essential oils to help the process along - juniper and cypress and pine and some others... Smelled
like a deep, clean, life-giving forest.
